Stand up and be counted, before the K Show
It’s easy to get lost in the crowd. And as an exhibitor at the massive K 2019 – the world’s premier fair for the plastics & rubber industry in DĂĽsseldorf - that’s the last thing you want. Being one of some 3,000 exhibitors, spread out across more than 173,000 square metres of exhibit space, has its challenges.Â
You need to get noticed. But how?
By signing up for EMG’s 2019 Pre-K Press Briefing you will get on the radar of the international trade press some four months prior to the event, in time to make the industry K Show preview issues .
The aim of advance exposure is to drive booth traffic and to raise awareness of your company with the 230,000-plus visitors expected to fill the halls of the massive Messe DĂĽsseldorf complex in October 2019.
Before and during the K show, influential plastics and rubber media will be deluged with K-related press releases and event invitations. It’s vital that you get heard above the din and your company and product news gets the attention it deserves.
We’re experienced K Show veterans - we first organized a Pre-K Press Briefing event for international plastics, rubber and chemical trade editors way back in 2004. We’ve been there, done that, and quite successfully. To get an impression, watch this brief video of the 2016 event:
In summary:
- 30 key editors from plastic and chemical publications in one room
- representing 45 media platforms from 12 countries
- Attended by up to 10 industrial key players
- 1-2 hour time slots available
Our pre-K event features a series of compact press conferences and networking opportunities, all in one location, that enable individual companies to meet with key members of influential trade media outlets to deliver their K Show news well before the event. You’re doing more than lobbing a press release over the wall into a busy newsroom and hoping it gets noticed. You’re building personal relationships that will pay dividends at K 2019 and well beyond.
We average bringing in 25 to 30 trade editors per session, representing some 45 plastics and chemical platforms from around the world. The resulting global coverage in the participating media channels prior to the exhibition has positively impacted the corporate image of all participating companies and helped to drive stand visits by both customers and prospects.
In addition to the general presentations and Q&A sessions, you’ll have the opportunity in Antwerp to host informal get-togethers, sponsor lunches/dinners, and arrange 1-on-1 interviews.
Participants in the Pre-K Press Briefing benefit in many ways: Editors get to meet several key industry players in a short period of time to gather input for their K news. As a participating company, you’re assured of having the undivided attention of journalists. And you share the overall organizational and facility costs as well as travel and living expenses of the attending editors.
You can leave all the heavy lifting to us, as we secure the venue, handle the audio/video requirements, invite the media, organize the food and drink, and expertly market your presence there as only EMG can.
For detailed information, please see the introduction presentation. To reserve your spot in the press conference schedule, contact us or complete the online registration form. But don’t delay, as space is limited.
