Account Executive

Responsibilities

1 Communication Plan Development

  • Assist in communication plan for clients under the Team leader’s guidance

2 Campaign Planning

  • Assist in identifying stories, developing key messages, selecting key media, scheduling key dates
  • Project managing process

3 Implementation

  • Writing & translating PRs/articles/marketing communications, developing media lists, pitching stories to key media and following up to maximise coverage
  • Working with AD press conferences, one-to-one interviews & press tours
  • Working within agreed client budgets and internal cost budgets

4 Client Contact

  • Maintaining day-to-day contact with clients, identify client needs and proactively pursuing growth opportunities.
  • Effectively build up close and smooth client relationship enabling long-term profitable business growth.

5 Media Networking

  • Developing and maintaining close relations with key media editors and journalists
  • Researching and monitoring media opportunities for client exposure

6 Supplier Dealings

  • Liaising with specialist suppliers, ensuring time/cost/quality requirements are achieved

7 Staff Supervision

  • Supervising day-to-day activities of 1-2 account assistants or interns

8 Business Development

  • Contributing to new account acquisition activities

9 Projects

  • Undertaking special projects as required by the General Manager


Person Specification

Essential Criteria

1 Profile Male or female, probably mid to late 20s, who aspires to working in a fast-paced, international, and multi-cultural environment.

2 Personal Traits Outgoing, confident, professional with presence
Assertive but not over-bearing Driven, ambitious & focused

3 Education University degree or higher

4 Experience 1-2 years Agency experience is a must, preferably PR Agency experience, particularly international ones

5 Communciation Skills Strong communication and presentation skill

6 strong inter-personal skills, a self-starter

7 Language Skills Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English, good copywriting in both Chinese and English
